The contest in Brazil finished on Sunday and on monday June, 27th we had our flight in the morning come to Chile. We arrived in Arica on Monday afternoon, pretty tired but super exited to surf Flopos and to get some bombs.
Already 11 years that I come to Arica and I still have this same motivation to surf El Gringo. This wave is just amazing and absolutely consistent!READ MORE

Enjoy some highlights of my 2015-2016 winter season in Canary – Gran Canaria. Every day, just under the windows of my house at Galdar, I see the three spots : La Guancha, El Agujero and El Fronton. Then I just have to chose which one I will ride. I progress every day as the waves ask for skill and maestria. And there are good riders in the water with me, the level is high and it is exciting. Thanks to Guilherme Delarue, Javier Fleitas, Ardiel Jimenez and Klak Bodyboard for filming and to Elements Prod for editing.
After Teahupoo, when I was back to Canary island at the beginning of May, the biggest swell ever offered us incredible conditions at El Fronton which was like a monster of perfect killing waves. You will see some footages coming soon. Now, summer is coming on Europe and the APB Tour is soon opening the Latin American league. I fly to Rio within one week. Stay tuned !
During my staying in Tahiti, Teahupoo was not at his best but we could find good waves to ride for the comp. I got some good surf at Taapuna and Sapinus, my best one was on the East coast, on a local spot with few riders and supposed to be sharky. We had a very good session with Mana and a little shark came to visit us, surfing in an extraordinary scenery: wild virgin mountains, waterfalls…
Thanks to Haumana (Mana) for filming and to APB Tour for the comp footages. My own footages on-board camera HIREC lynx 700 – Edited by Elements Prod.

My last week-end in Tahiti is just amazing! I have some great waves at Taapuna on Saturday and then in the afternoon we meet at a big barbecue with my Tahitian friends, Brahim from Marroco, allias Air Marroco with his massive invert during the event, my friend Claude Mazuret who has a Surf School on the island and few more guys.
I’m having a really good trip since I showed up in Tahiti. Before getting here, I didn’t know where to stay during the comp. By chance my friend Haumanava (nicknamed Mana) invited me to stay with him and his family and to lend me a car. It was just the best thing that could have happen to me.
The Quemao Class is an invitational contest happening in Lanzarote island (Canarias) taking place in La Santa on the famous spot El Quemao in early January 2016. This contest is a tribute to David Infante « El Fula » who died some years ago as he was surfing there. On this event both surfers and bodyboarders compete on the same wave, on the same contest with two draws: one for surf and the other for boogie.READ MORE
